Connections
Exploring various ways to develop empathy can open your thinking and strengthen the ability to develop empathy. How empathy is developed isn't as important as remembering to think about issues and problems not just from your perspective but from others who are involved. It allows individuals attempting to address a challenge or problem to understand and share the same feelings that others feel. Empathy lets us put ourselves in other people's shoes and better understand how they might feel about a problem, circumstance, or situation. Gaining other's perspective may open up possible solutions not previously considered.
